The Bird Island Tenant Dealers Association meeting was held on December 11, 2019. The ACLOU had a large replanting project on the island. These plantations of tamarisk holm oaks and pines were a failure, it must be said that the conditions were unfavourable. Too much planting too fast, land too dry, gale. Only a few pines survived. The biggest failure were the tamarisks which were not protected and a few days later all had been cut off by the rabbits which proliferated on the island and enjoyed it. The operation will therefore be renewed with larger plants and by reviewing the watering system.
