Taxi boats are becoming more and more numerous on the Arcachon Basin. Some are turning all year round. They allow crossings at times that are different from regular routes. These fast boats are limited to a capacity of 11 passengers.

Taxi boats make departures from everywhere at any time, it is at certain times and certain places the only way to move on the Arcachon Basin: Beach Hortense, Dune nord Co(o)niche, Village Herbe, Port de la Vigne, Piquey, Banc d’Arguin sud….

They operate on request. Rates are often packages.
