The dredging of the Port de la Vigne in Lège-Cap-Ferret began at the beginning of December and is expected to be completed at the end of January. Sediment collected should be deposited on the beach via a discharge line. These sediments will then be completed at the Teich Treatment Centre.

The last dredging was in 1987!

There was an unsuccessful trial in 2015 that failed. In fact at the time the aim was to empty the port for dry dredging .Sadly the sealing could not be ensured by coffers installed at the entrance, and the project had been abandoned.
