The Kayak is the only way to get close to the Bird Island and land this excursion takes about 5 hours.

Unloading with respect for the environment, the guide really positions itself as an environmental educator.
No departure from Arcachon.
Procedure
Reception of participants at 9:00 or 15:00.
Unloading of equipment at the Grand Piquey landing.
Distribution of equipment and preparation of watertight cans with the picnic brought by your care.
Explanation of the navigation project, modifiable according to the group or the weather.
Return between 13h and 14h depending on the level of the group and the wind.

Double self bouncer and insubmersibles kayak rental, double paddle, vest.
1 can for 2 (so as not to carry useless things).

Free parking (but not easy).
Take 1.5L of water per person, and a picnic not afraid of the heat. Leave your spare items in your car.
No credit card on site. Consider taking a cheque or cash.
You have a fresh water point and public sanitary facilities on site, a restaurant and oyster tastings.
