Fishing Arcachon Bay
The Arcachon Basin is a lagoon, unlike the large Landes lakes, it is largely open to the Atlantic Ocean through the passes of the Arcachon Basin and constitutes a small inland sea of 155 km² at high tide and 40 km² at low tide.
Like all lagoons, it is a breeding ground for many fish species. This makes it a particularly fishy environment.

Pêche dans le Bassin
From 8 years old, 20 fishermen maximum on board, departure at 8 am from the port of Arcachon for 4 hours of fishing. You can rent the equipment on board, bait 7€, rod 10€,the accompanying person can board for 26€.
The targeted species
Spring species: sea bream, cuttlefish, sea bass, meagre etc.
Summer target species: bream, sea bass, meagre and coustuts.
Fall target species: bream, sea bream, grey mullet, sea bass, meagre and red mullet. (Non-exhaustive list).
